Life on Purpose

What can you do to bring more meaning, joy, and purpose into your life? How do you improve your health, happiness, and well-being? If you're asking those questions, you're in the right place! http://www.lifeonpurposeshow.com Since 2011, I've been asking those questions in more than 250 in-depth conversations with healers, entrepreneurs, creatives, seekers, and thought leaders from around the world. In each episode, we discuss topics like mindfulness, health and healing, conscious living, personal transformation, frontier science, spirituality, life purpose, and wellness in every aspect of life and work. My goal is to offer inspiration and concrete examples that listeners can apply on their own. Life on Purpose, which was featured in The Huffington Post and iTunes' New & Noteworthy listings in January/February 2015, is produced by Gregory Berg. He's also the host of the acclaimed Radio Enso, which aired nearly 150 in-depth conversations from 2011-2014 and has a five-star rating on iTunes. Through the years, Greg had been fortunate enough to interview an amazing array of inspirational people whose life and work revolves around helping others answer those very questions — creatives, academics, and visionaries like Brene Brown, Dan Millman, Dr. Bernie Siegel, Barbara Marx Hubbard, Jennifer Louden, Jonathan Fields, davidji, Danielle LaPorte, Chris Guillebeau, Susan Piver, Chris Brogan, A.J. Jacobs, Betsy Chasse, don Miguel Ruiz Jr., and MANY more.

For Life on Purpose Episode #19, my guest is Brigitte Lyons, a media strategist with a passion for storytelling. Brigitte joins me to discuss the question, "What do you want to be known for?", how we can each answer that, and how it's applicable to all areas of our lives.

About: Brigitte Lyons is a media strategist with a passion for storytelling. She founded B, the forward-thinking PR agency that she runs, after spending a decade working at traditional public relations agencies. She learned how a movement was organized from the ground-up, she battled a governor and won, and she worked with top tier media like CNN and Bloomberg.

Now she is relentless about helping forward-thinking organizations and individuals move people with their ideas, and she is obsessed with bringing public relations into the social era—especially the values of co-creation and continuous innovation.

For Life on Purpose Episode #18, I'm joined by entrepreneur, author, and speaker Jia Jiang for an inspiring conversation about rejection, fear, conscious intent, and his new book Rejection Proof: How I Beat Fear and Became Invincible Through 100 Days of Rejection.

About: Jia Jiang is an Entrepreneur, Blogger, Author, Speaker. His brand new book is entitled Rejection Proof: How I Beat Fear and Became Invincible Through 100 Days of Rejection. Several years into his career in the corporate world, he took a life altering risk and stepped into the unknown world of entrepreneurship, which resulted in everyone’s biggest fear… REJECTION.

This became the catalyst that set him on the path to his true calling. To conquer the fear of rejection, he embarked on a personal quest and started a blog to face 100 Days of Rejection. His journey revealed a world that was hidden in plain sight, a world where people are much kinder than we imagine, discovering that rejection can be much less painful than we believe, and that it's the fear of rejection that is much more destructive than we know.

He's taken that message to the stage and is an outstanding keynote speaker. His TEDx talk is among the top 200 most-watched TED talks of all-time. His story has also been shared on Bloomberg Businessweek, Yahoo News, Forbes, the Huffington Post, and many more.

The Art of Work is about discovering your true calling—that thing you were born to do. As Jeff Goins explains, the search begins with passion but does not end there. Those who experience this intersection experience something exceptional and enviable. Though it is rare, such a life is attainable by anyone brave enough to try.
