Life on Purpose

How do you live your life more deliberately? What can you do to bring more meaning and purpose into your life? How does that affect your health, happiness, and well-being? If you're asking those questions, you're in the right place! http://www.lifeonpurposeshow.com Life on Purpose presents in-depth conversations with entrepreneurs, creatives, seekers, and thought leaders from around the world. In each episode, we'll discuss how those guests are being purposeful with various aspects as their lives- whether in their daily habits, work and running a business, relationships, health, travel, money, or just how they move through their day. My goal is to offer inspiration and concrete examples that listeners can apply to their own lives. Life on Purpose, which was featured in iTunes' New & Noteworthy listings in January/February 2015, is the latest creation from Gregory Berg, producer/host of the acclaimed Radio Enso, which aired nearly 150 in-depth conversations from 2011-2014 and also has a five-star rating on iTunes. Through the years, Greg had been fortunate enough to interview an amazing array of inspirational people whose life work revolves around helping others answer those very questions — creatives, academics, and visionaries like Brene Brown, Dr. Bernie Siegel, Barbara Marx Hubbard, Jennifer Louden, Jonathan Fields, Danielle LaPorte, Chris Guillebeau, Susan Piver, Chris Brogan and MANY more.

For Life on Purpose Episode #74, my guest is writer, artist, career coach and community leader Emilie Wapnick, the Founder and Creative Director at Puttylike, where she helps multipotentialites (people with many passions, skills, and creative pursuits) integrate all of their interests to create dynamic, fulfilling and fruitful careers and lives.

In this inspiring conversation, we discussed her brand new book, How To Be Everything, A Guide for Those Who (Still) Don't Know What They Want to Be When They Grow Up (Harper Collins), in which she flips the script on conventional career advice. Instead of suggesting that you specialize, choose a niche, or accumulate 10,000 hours of practice in a single area, she provides a practical framework for building a sustainable life around ALL of your passions.

“You don't have to choose one thing! That's the big secret no one tells you. "
